THIPI is a minimalistic carafe series composed of a water, wine and cordial carafe, designed by the skilled product designer Bjørn van den Berg. Based on classic decanter shapes, Thipi has a modern and uncomplicated shape reminiscent of conical tipis. The original name "thipi" in the Native American Lakota language means "they live together". The carafe's beautiful clear glass sockets are a detail that emphasises the encounter with the surface, making them stand stable and appear harmonious. The carafe's clear silhouette and sculptural value make it possible for them to be on display as a natural part of the interior, individually or together in a group.
THIPI comes in three cool colours: clear, petrol and smokey. These are designer products that you serve from, show off and put on display. They emphasise the interior. The water carafe holds 82 cl, wine carafe 125 cl and cordial carafe 40 cl. The cordial carafe also comes with a small cordial glass which rests on top as a lid. The series is mouth blown and handmade in solid coloured glass by professional glass blowers, and they can withstand washing in a dishwasher.
THIPI combines the sense of everyday life with a traditional lifestyle, providing a decorative and functional interior at home with your own "thipi".
